Necessities were available in kitchen with seating there and a dining room table. Nice goid sized living room, but TV is in a small room with a couch and coffee table. “Wonderful hostess, and a very interesting home.. You’ll have a blast down in the basement with the games and the seating in the fullscreen TV. There are reminiscence of a different time throughout the home. Who does”

“This is one of my favorite places to stay! It’s a stand-alone space above a detached garage, behind the host’s home. The neighborhood is very quiet and nice. You park directly next to the door, so if’s really easy to unload/load your things. A half-flight of stairs leads up to a small living room, kitchen with a table, bathroom with a shower, and a bed space with a closet. Kept very clean! Jane is a kind, communicative, excellent host. She wants to meet new guests, but then will interact as much……

“We had a very relaxing 3 day stay! We were celebrating a late Christmas with our daughter and grandson. It was the perfect set-up for us. The view from the back porch was beautiful. We will be back! Looking to make reservations for the future! ”

“We had a small graduation celebration for my son here and it was outstanding. The house is beautiful. Everything from the inside touches to the river was fabulous. I would absolutely stay here again. Terry was very easy to communicate with and a gracious host.”

“Loved the preservation of historic sites, people & events. A little awkward checking in and lugging in suitcases during the dinner rush. Room was comfortable-- thankfully, it was a cool night as we didn't see any air conditioner in our room. However, very basic amenities. Some simple enhancements could go a long way (ie no bright yellow extension cord under the area rug, some overhead lamps, shelf for roku box vs dangling from the cords). Overall, pleasant and accomodating lodging. ”

“The location is central to many places in the area. The access to the room is through some ramshackle steps that made me wonder if they would hold up. The fixtures are from the 1990s. The hot tub has hot water, but minimal pressure. If you are expecting to be greeted by hotel staff, you won't. The continential breakfast is do-it-yourself coffee. Three stars.”
