Torian Plum~Base Area Condo~Great Amenities

This 3-bedroom Torian Plum condo is at the Base Area of the Steamboat Resort. In the heart of the happenings, enjoy powder days, great restaurants, retail and rentals outside your door. Head into town to experience the Western Spirit of Main St - just a short drive, winter shuttle, or City Bus ride away. Torian Plum's amenities include a heated pool, hot tubs, fitness room, garage parking, and Front Desk.

Once through the door you will be greeted by the large functional kitchen leading to the spacious living area with large TV. Through the sliding door from the living room is the balcony with views of Mt Werner‚ peak and the slopes leading down, if you needed some motivation to strap on your ski boots, just take a look outside!

This condo has three bedrooms, the primary features a king bed and ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom has a Queen bed, and the third bedroom is perfect for the kids with two twin beds.

Our resort adjacent properties are always the first to sell out for our peak seasons, so please contact us if you are looking for the perfect ski holiday location because availability will not last!

Great location!

We love staying at the Torian Plum. The location is great and the pool and hot tubs are wonderful. This unit was not very clean. We needed to wipe out the refrigerator before we put food in it. The extra bedding was wadded up in the closet and there was a big rip in the shower curtain.

Quaint and rustic

Property was clean and cute. Mountain decor was fun and bathrooms were nicely designed and decorated with plenty of towels. Beds were rather hard and the sliding glass door didn’t lock. Check in process was easy but the manager at the desk was rather unfriendly. Location would be great for ski season, close to the base with several shops and restaurants just downstairs.

Great location but dirty and outdated

This condo is in a great location but on the 2nd floor looking at building roofs. The carpets are all stained and the beds are old and creaky. Checkin process made us wait because the property manager never told the front desk that our condo was ready. With a little bit of TLC this place would be great!

The pictures make this condo look a lot nicer than it is. Clean and well stocked, but can really do with some updates. Check-in was easy, but we weren’t given any check out instructions, so we did our best.

Christmas ski in/out w/family

Nice sized 3-bdrm condo w/good sized kitchen & living room. Heated pool, hot tub, a plus! Bring your own spices, foil, coffee. Location cant be beat!

Excellent

Stayed 4 nights and had an excellent stay. Clean, well stocked kitchen with nice supply of pans and kitchen tools. Clean well kept bathrooms and very clean throughout condo and complex. Restaurants were awesome, live music, the stream area was fun, pool and hot tub perfect. We were there in late July. No air conditioning was ok- little warm during the day but we just went to the pool and cooled off. Condo had multiple fans and we brought one. Sleeping at night was fine with windows open it was mid 50’s. Always felt safe and nice mix of having activities but very peaceful, too. We would rent here again.

Summertime Stay

The condo does not have air conditioning - it was pretty hot the week we stayed but there are more than enough fans and there are lots of windows to open in the evenings. We were only there to sleep so this wasn't an issue. Condo had everything we needed. The parking garage is easy to get in and out of. The location is great if you want to be right in the Torian Plaza. This unit is directly above a restaurant but we never had noise issues. Pool and hot tubs are great. Great coffee shop next door. Nice area and place to stay in Steamboat!

Steamboat getaway

We loved our stay at this property. It was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and the rooms were generous. The location was excellent with easy access to dining and shops. We would recommend this for 6 or 8 people no problem!

Great Stay!

Really enjoyed the location and cleanliness of this property. Right next to lots of restaurants and activities. We went in the middle of July and the condo was pretty hot during the day but the fans that they provided helped quite a bit. Would recommend this place!

July 4th fun

This was at the base of the mountain - convenient to many events for all ages. It was me, my husband, and our two boys (21 and 16). The boys rented downhill bikes with a lift pass and had a blast. I hiked up the mountain around the lift area and met up with them coming down. I also played mini-golf - a nice course built into the mountain. I didn't ride the coaster because of time and long lines. There are 3 restaurants right next to Torian Plum. We had a great breakfast at one, beer and margarita at the mexican place next door and sat outside the 3rd one listening to a two man band while watching the boys come down the mountain. It was very pretty view with the well landscaped creek that the kids and dogs walked in. I was bummed we couldn't bring our 4-legged friend as saw many dogs walking around the area. The restaurants and some venues didn't allow them so it was more convenient that we left him at home. We went into town for the fireworks, rodeo and Friday night concert. All were good and traffic/parking wasn't bad. The river was running too fast so we didn't get to tube. It was a great vacation and I would recommend this unit. It's an older condo but they have done some remodeling. I wish the railing around the porch wasn't concrete - it wasn't as open as the units on the floors above us that had a metal railing. It was quiet and I like the way the complex is designed. I never saw another tenant. There was plenty of underground parking. Oh, we also played golf at Haymaker (get the Green Saver Mobile app for discount).

We enjoyed our stay and had a lot of fun with three kids. Spent time at Land Up and the Hot Springs so the kids were happy with the activities. Went on the Gondola ride and the views at the top of the mountain were beautiful. Just wish you would have had something on the website when we booked the room that the pool was closed for the summer. Very disappointing to arrive with plans of swimming in the evening to find out it was closed. It's summer and hot. When looking for places to stay, one of the criteria we put in the search was a pool and this place came up and nothing was mentioned about pool construction.

Great location

The condo is located at the base of the mountain. There were shops, restaurants and activities to do for younger children. There are grocery shops near by too. I specifically chose the condo because of the open kitchen, outdoor swim pool and outdoor grill (listed in VRBO amenities). There were five adults in our party so the amount of space was good and the kitchen was open. However, the pool was under construction and there was no grill on the patio or on the premises. Construction started between 7-7:30 am each morning so sleeping in was not an option. We purchased meals before arriving in Steam Boat Springs since small mountain areas are more expensive. We ended up cooking all of our meals indoors, which caused the temperature to increase on an already hot July day. The condo does not have AC but fans are provided.
