“House was everything we needed. The heat that weekend was crazy. I messaged Britnee and told her about how hot it was and she quickly responded. She told me she would go buy a window ac and install it for us. I told her no that wasn’t necessary but she insisted and got it done. She was so accommodating I can’t say enough about it. Highly recommend this place if you plan to go Oswego. ”

“Iam disabled and need assistance walking,the cottage was open concept and easy for me to get around inside. The living space gave a relaxed vibe . Beautiful views. I brought a queen mattress cover that made the queen bed comfortable for myself. If i had to say anything that was an issue it would be the steps to the back yard. I was not able to get down to the water or back yard. I think if anything I would add to your information would be to let people know about the deck stairs. I left with……

“This cottage is a hidden gem, so well cared for, the decor touches are charming, the view is beautiful, and the neighborhood is quiet. Our host, Mary, was so welcoming and helpful and made us feel right at home. The kitchen had everything we needed, and a grill was right outside. The two decks have lots of nice seating. We especially enjoyed the sunporch for viewing the swans that live in the bay. The location was great, close to Fair Haven, and all that the south shore of Lake Ontario has to……

“Most of the time, when you rent from vrbo, the address appears as soon as the booking is confirmed. This host never gives the address because they never intend for you to stay there. We booked this property and then suddenly there was a maintenance issue. One message said it was electrical and another said ot was a water problem. But not to worry! They have other properties that you can stay in that are complete dumps. They come wirh garbage and debris in the entry way, sticky floors, bugs,……

“My family and I have thoroughly enjoyed our second stay the Janelle’s cottage. It is very clean and cozy with Port Bay for its backyard. We rented a boat from Bay Bridge Sport shop and had a ton of fun floating on the bay. Janelle is great at communicating while maintaining a professional yet friendly manner. The Port Bay /Wolcott community has a small hometown feel. We hope to come back soon! ”

“Overall the property met our needs but there were positives and negatives. The house had amenities and with prior communication with the owners, we brought what we needed (electric skillet, muffin pan, and glass 13x9 pan for example). The bedrooms were clean and enough for their purpose. The backyard was nice and the area was quiet. We enjoyed the fire pit and visiting birds. The selection of games was nice. My husband and I ended up buying the game Rumikub because we enjoyed it so much. Great……
