I recently stayed at Hyatt Place for five days, and while the room was spacious, the overall experience was disappointing due to a lack of attention to cleanliness and guest requests.
From the start, I noticed that the shower curtain was filthy and requested a replacement from the front desk—twice. Both employees assured me it would be taken care of, yet during my entire stay, it was never changed. This lack of follow-through was frustrating and unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber.
Additionally, I found a hole in the bed blanket, which was another sign of poor upkeep. The biggest issue, however, was the bed itself—it was slanted, making it incredibly uncomfortable to sleep. It was bad enough that I checked out a day earlier than planned.
While I appreciate the spacious room, the lack of cleanliness, poor maintenance, and unresponsive service significantly impacted my stay. I expect better from Hyatt and hope they address these issues for future guests.
