“This was a great place to go and get away from the computers and normal day hustle and bustle of life, and spend quality time with the wife. Would definitely stay here again.”

Only four miles into town, and hour to the major town, and 25 minutes to Effigy National Monument. We did a lot of hiking. Thank you for sharing this home. “We’ve visited “the Iowa Cabin” many times over the past six years. It’s a cozy, well-equipped property with everything we need for a family getaway. The location is peaceful and we’ve taught our kids to trout fish in the stream on the property. Many great memories here - we’ll be back!”

“It was a great stay! Only downside to the cabin was that there was no hot water in the kitchen to clean dishes, we did a lot of cooking at the cabin. Other than that it was a great experience! ”

“The cabin and location are great. Everything was as described. I wasn’t impressed with the cleanliness. There were stains on the floor from spills and marks/crumbs on end tables from previous guests having drinks/food. It’s nice that pets are allowed but with that comes additional cleaning that was missed. Pet hair on furniture and a spot by one of the doors that appeared to be from a pet having an accident. “What a great cabin! I am usually very disappointed in the cleanliness of other VRBO’s that we have stayed at, not this one at all! It was so clean (I am very picky)!! It was well stocked. “Communication with host was wonderful. He is very accommodating and polite. Description of property was accurate. Property was very well-maintained. Property wasn’t as secluded as originally thought but there is plenty of privacy. The charcoal grill was very clean and very nice! As was the fire pit and outdoor seating. The hot tub was clean and set at 104°. For being a rental, that is cleaned mostly by the previous guest, it was found to be very clean. The caboose was well-equipped for our stay.……
