“The loft accommodations and amenities were very well planned and comfortable for the small space The porch and many lawn seating areas were all perfect to enjoy sunrises, sunsets, frog calls and multiple varieties of birds calls. Favorite sighting was the Green Heron that hung out on a branch just off the dock.We enjoyed the well groomed walking trails that follow the shoreline. The river is a quick paddle away. Our hosts were very nice and respected our privacy. I look forward to another……

“Anthony was a very gracious host, and the house/property/amenities were above and beyond other VRBO’s we’ve stayed at. We had a very cozy stay in the middle of winter, and it was a treat to wake up to a sunrise over the frozen lake in the morning. I would definitely recommend a stay here, and we hope to come back someday to enjoy the kayaks.”

“We had the pleasure of staying in the Pleasure Lake Retreat House. The home is situated on a small lake and has everything a group could ask for to keep entertained. It comfortably slept six people with room and beds to spare. There is a pool table, dart board, ping pong table, fishing poles, basketballs and a hoop and board games. We never got bored and would love to come back on our next visit to the area.”

“When we walked into your cabin, we were just amazed, how beautiful and peaceful it was there. We just loved all the photos of the fish and decorations in the cabin and lures. “We had a great time at this cabin. It was just the right size for our group of 6 adults and 3 kids. We went in winter, and the main floor was cozy and warm (even hot with the fireplace!) The two bedrooms downstairs each have their own heater that made it very comfortable. The bar area in the basement was a little chilly. We saw deer in the yard and had a nice relaxing time, it was very clean and well stocked!”

“ We came up from Kansas City and stayed Sunday to Saturday. Everything we needed for our vacation! The bed was comfortable, the AC and heat worked great. When we wanted to watch the Royals post season game, we grabbed our laptop and watched out at the campfire. Wifi Signal was great. Did some fishing. The lake was nice and calm.
