“Prefect for a weekend away! The shack had everything we needed. The loft bedroom was a hit for our 7 year old. Beds were comfy and there were plenty of blankets. We were able to walk into town and also explored the old rail lines. West side deli was prefect to sit outside and eat lunch. Quick drive to Loyalsock for hiking. Make sure you pack warm, it gets chilly! Deck was great for a cup of coffee in the morning. Really a cool little spot especially if anyone in your family loves trains. ”

“Although the host was right next door we did feel we had our privacy. The cabin had many personal family photos which made us feel a little like we were invading their space. So as constructive criticism perhaps a little less personal items would make future renters feel more at home. All in all the hiking was fun and the property provided a restful and relaxing time. The hosts were very helpful and accommodating.”

“This property was exactly what we were looking for. We rented the property for an extended weekend for a family wedding. It had all of the amenities that we needed. The host was very friendly and helpful. We are from Florida so the wild life was abundant and different from our own. We highly recommend this property. ”

“We had a wonderful time at Spruce Haven! We used it as a basecamp for a family reunion with our cousins at Elk Lake. The kids and grandkids had a great time on the pond fishing, riding in the peddle boat and using the stand-up paddle boards. We all took advantage of the trails around the property, the firepit, the par-2 golf hole, the vast lawn and all the great "toys" that were provided. Our Elk Lake family loved it when we had them over for burgers and dogs cooked on the Blakstone grill. ……

“We stayed at Laceyville to celebrate my grandma’s 80th birthday. We had a great time and the house handled all 10 adults, 2 toddlers and 2 dogs without feeling too squishy. Cindy was a wonderful host! She left some local treats for us on the table on arrival and gave us some recommendations for activities in the area. She is very responsive and checked on us via message multiple times throughout our stay. When my grandma thought she forgot her laptop behind Cindy offered to go look for it and……
