“Accueil chaleureux. Chambre très bien, propre, literie très confortable, bonne insonorisation. Petit déjeuner excellent et très varié. Parking extérieur ou couvert payant. Hôtel à recommander pour faire une halte ou visiter Zürich. ”
“We had the chance to stay at the River Residence for 2 months. It was our home away from home. Perfect for long stays as well as short ones. The cleanliness, attention to details, professional maintenance, and over all comfort was like no other place we ever stayed. The owner Marco made sure that all our needs were attended to promptly. His friendly and warm attitude added to our positive experience. We would stay here again and again and highly recommended to anyone visiting Baden.”
“Everything is perfect except not having air conditioning in summer. Good environment facing Limmat river. The spa is excellent and their hospitality is superb.”
“Beautiful setting in the Rhein, quiet town centre location, a number of restaurants nearby and good food offering in the hotel.
Breakfast had a good number of quality items and the tastiest coffee I had all trip. ”
"The hotel is clean. But, there are little shops and restaurants, especially they are all closed on Sunday.
Also, the window at room is open in a dangerous way. It will automatically closed when raining, making it no fresh air in the room."
"The pillow was very dirty and covered with brown fluff. There were a lot of food crumbs on the chair. The door hasn’t double lock inside, feeling unsecurity.

"The hotel is about ~15min away from the town if you take the tram. The tram station was very close to the hotel, ~1min walk. There were 2 coop supermarkets nearby. Very quiet area. The price was much cheaper than hotels in the town.
The room was spacious but not cleaned thoroughly. I found a contact lens on the headboard.
Minibar was included, with 2 bottles of water, 1 bottle of beer and 1 bottle of coke. The electric socket placement is not well thought of. If you plugin an EU to UK plug adapter, the adapter will be holding down the light switch, which is located right above the plug socket.
The toilet was basically a wet room. I really didn’t enjoy that. I stayed at 3 different hotels in Switzerland during this trip, and this was the only hotel with a wet room. Also, the temperature of the water from the shower head was very unstable. Sometimes it got extremely hot, sometimes it got freezing cold. Having a shower there was torturous.
The room is acceptable but the toilet is a big no no for me. Maybe the unstable water temperature is not much of a problem in the summer. But we went there in late spring, which was still very cold.
