“We wanted to enjoy a weekend in Carlton Landing and all it has to offer without overspending for a two-night lake getaway. This guest house was small, but just right for what we needed. There’s no oven/stove unit but they have an electric stove top appliance that allowed us to cook breakfast on. Short walk to the pool, food trucks, beach and other spots. The ladder was steep (as expected), but our 4 and 8 year old boys did okay with it.”

“For the most part, the stay was good—good location in the community, room was clean. The bed was awful and appeared to be broken. I would have liked extra towels and toiletries. Note: it can be noisy from the downstairs restaurant and hard to sleep, also woke up early to noise from opening restaurant for breakfast. ”

“We stayed in the treehouse for a long weekend and really enjoyed our stay. It was clean, very quiet and nicely decorated/equipped. The views were beautiful from the bedroom, living and deck. We loved watching the squirrels hop from tree to tree. We used the fire pit both nights and grilled steaks on the propane grill on Saturday.
