Room wasnt ready when we arrived at 7pm. First room we were given smelled like something died in there. Had to wait another 30 minutes for another room to be cleaned. Then the room they gave us was already occupied. Housekeeper said, "no it should be this room" so had to go tell front desk that she told us the wrong room # and get new keys. Then, was woke up at midnight to someone trying to open our door. They were given the room we were in. I was told i could change the card i wanted to pay with at checkout. I gave the new card this morning and they still charhed my otger card i was holding it with. Im supposed to be receiving a $50 credit. We shall see if thar happens without a fight.

The first staff member I encountered was rude. The bathroom in the lobby was disgusting and coved in mud along with being partially out of order. I was given a room that the door wouldn't close, smelled like smoke, and had trash in the trash can. I requested and was given a new room. The new room had hair in several places in the bathroom. The stairwell directly outside my door was unsecured. The door lock at the bottom of the stairwell was broken and anyone could enter at any time. Many loud guests all though the night. Worst hotel experience I've had in years.

The property was obviously once lovely. It’s outdated and needs some tlc and cleaning up. Most of the common areas had a musty odor, that you could only detect through the stench of marijuana. Outside the hotel, my party encountered folks who were very likely conducting drug deals. Every so often a car, bicycle or pedestrian would approach the guy on the bench. An exchange of some sort occurred before the newcomers left. We were trying to enjoy the evening outdoors, but ended up spending the rest of our time in our room due to feeling unsafe outside. Our room was decently clean…there’s a desk, but no chair or other seating.

Something evidently happened on our floor and the smell was rancid our whole stay. Staff did not communicate at all or try to warn us or make amends for those of us on this floor. They never cleaned our room. Did not refill coffee at breakfast and doors were being propped open and master keys were given out when staff didn’t have enough room keys.

This hotel has to be 50 years old. They've done what they can with new paint and carpet, but there's no hiding the age. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the mattress was comfortable. However, in our room, the fire alarm was covered by a plastic bag, there was no coffee machine and all the furniture was really beat up. There is one ice machine for all 3 floors and it was out of ice. We went to the "free breakfast" around 8:30 and not much remained. If you're in a bind, this place will work, but don't let the Wyndham flagship name fool you.

I know they were busy for the concerts but their check in process was unacceptable. First two tries to check in were hours apart and neither time did they even look up our name before saying our room was not ready, this was hours after the check in time. We weren't able to check in until almost 1am! Roaches in the room, dirty bathroom, wet sheets and bedding, broken door handle. Rude staff. Tried to give them benefit of the doubt with the event in town but even then this was horrible.
