“There was really little to recommend this property. There was an appalling smell in the bathroom (presumably from the drains) which permeated into the lounge area. The area wasn't very nice. It was up two flights of stairs which wasn't easy for me to cope with. There was an issue on check-in as the email that was sent an hour before did not correspond to the actions required for the parking space and we had to ring up about it. Someone else parked in our designated space on our final night……

“We stayed at the Cottage- a lovely place in a quiet neighborhood. Lyn was an amazing host- even left us a bottle of wine and cake as a welcome gift. We didn’t cook during our stay, but the kitchen seemed very well equipped. Bed and linens were very comfortable and the cottage was very clean. “Thank you for a wonderful stay at Rivernene Cottages. Hosts Stephen and Phil were amazing and could not do enough for all the guests.
