“We had a great stay! The creek was wonderful to wade in, and the host provided a couple of floaties great for lounging (the umbrella stand in the creek gave us laugh and was very effective)! We enjoyed the sunsets and did lots of puzzles and games on the porch. Only tip for future travelers is we did not have cell service at the cabin - so make sure you have the key code saved on your phone before leaving Kooskia! ”

“Very clean, well appointed cabin with great western decor. We loved having a full kitchen and cooked our meals there. The cabin is on the main highway and we felt safe there. The bed has a softer mattress and we prefer a little more firm, but we had a very good night's rest. The cabin is not in the town of Kamiah, but south of town on the main road.. “The property was misrepresented. It was not clean. There was an overpowering floral smell that reminded us of an attempt to cover another undesirable smell. It caused four of us inatant headaches and nausea. The window blinds are broken, the toilets filthy. Towels look as if they hsve been used. Greasy finger prints on the stove and microwave as well as grime in the refrigerator. Unknown grime on the washer, etc. We did not stay. ”

“It is a quiet home in a close-in location, within walking distance of downtown. The kitchen works well, and the laundry machines are fantastic.The only thing to watch out for is the staircase to the second floor (where two of the bedrooms and three of the four beds are located). This is an older house, and the staircase is very steep. It worked for us, and they thoughtfully put a baby gate at the top of the staircase. If we had a small child, I would not have put him or her in the top……
