“Great property in the middle of a farm field. We had 4 adults and 4 kids. Plenty of space. The fist thing the kids said was “this place is amazing!!” The kids room was indeed amazing - very large and a cool hang out for them. With bunk beds plus 3 other large beds. Large 8-person dining table we all fit at for eating and doing activities like cookie decorating, manicures, and painting/arts & crafts. The kitchen had everything. Such a cozy way to spend time playing games and watching……

“A few hours after checking into the VRBO on Friday, there was a mechanical issue in the house related to the extreme cold weather which could have ruined our entire weekend; however, the property owner promptly got someone on sight first thing Saturday morning, determined the issue couldn't be fixed immediately, found a property within 1 mile where we could stay for no additional fee, AND gave us a refund. “My husband, myself, my sister and our children ages 6-17 stayed here for a relaxing family weekend. This is actually my secone stay here this year! The location is perfect! Close to amenities but far enough away to get a full camping/outdoors secluded experience! We love to sit by the fire, watch the birds, fish at Finleys landing and walk the beach. The cabin is cozy and rustic and thoroughly stocked with firewood and cooking supplies! Perfect stay for families! ”

“My bf and I had a great little getaway before the holidays staying in this cottage with some character. We loved it's location to both downtown Mineral Point and to towns nearby to visit House on the Rock and visit Governor Dodge State park for some winter hiking. Overall it was a lovely experience. “This place was amazing and everyone kept commenting on what a good choice it was for our family to gather from a variety of locations for Thanksgiving. It has been a challenge for us to get together over the last couple of years. The natural beauty was spectacular. We saw trumpeter swans, bald eagles, cranes, and geese, of course. The 3 year old and 5 year old totally enjoyed just running through the spacious house. Lots of room, lots of love and lots of laughter. Thank you!”

“We spent a weekend at the Limestone for a Ladies Weekend. The house was beautiful, even better in person than the listing. The house fit the 11 of us comfortably and was very well equipped. Located very close to town. We enjoyed all the shops, Cafe 43, Crazy Frank’s, Brewery Pottery plus a hike around Pendarvis! Definitely recommend!! Please note that there are many stairs in the house which may be a consideration for some but not an issue for us (except after some wine). ”
