The house is plenty big for 4 adults. Enjoyed having the 2 bathrooms. No issues with cleanliness. Had a minor issue with the lock box but it was resolved quickly.There is nothing fancy about this house but it is a good value for the

I have never given a terrible review before but this host & house have earned it. There is nothing "charming" about this "charming rambler...with... A/C, and WiFi".Half of the lights and the WiFi didn't work.The owner said he would leave the outside lights on for us as we had planned to arrive after dark. The light outside the front door was not on. We used flashlight to get inside but were immediately concerned as there is a realtor's "For Sale" in the front yard and the front door was busted (see photos). We could see in the garage door window that there was a vehicle inside the garage. We tried the doorbell (which doesn't work) to make sure we weren't walking into an already occupied home. We stumbled through the entryway (carpet was stained-needs a floormat) & couldn't get the kitchen lights to turn on. Assumed the power must have gone out but when we opened the fridge, the fridge lights turned on and the freezer had a frozen pizza inside. We opened the foyer closet & were concerned as there were rifle cases hanging inside.Not your typically VRBO rental.We used flashlights to make our way down the hall to the master bedroom which had a ceiling fan on but no functional overhead light. The pull cord was missing & the remote which allegedly runs the fan and light didn't work to turn lights on or to turn fan off. Main bath had dead bugs in it and water stains on the ceiling & bedroom closet was full of men's clothes. The living room light worked & was full of dead bugs.

took this photo of the torn curtain to ensure the host would not try to charge us for damage. The front carpet in entryway is also stained. The house windows were open, A/C was off & it smelled like a wet dog inside. The beds had stains & dog hair

master bathroom had 2 of the 3 functioning lights...that was a win! Linen closet inside was empty aside from the dead bugs and bathroom fixture hardware inside

master bathroom ceiling waterstained on ceiling....but at least some of the lights worked in this room!

We opened the door to what we thought was a bedroom & instead found this room with wadded up linens in piles and what appeared to be boxes of wall decor. Odd this room wasn't locked/inaccessible since other doors were.

Used it basically as a hotel room as we only spent one night and didn't eat any meals there. Plenty of restaurants within a 15 minute drive.Owner very responsive to phone calls.

There was no microwave, and no working kitchen stove. The kitchen cabinets were filthy, and there were very few plates. One of the bed sheets and some of the towels and all of the washcloths had stains on them. There was an overwhelming chemical odor that never dissipated. The Keurig had filthy, standing water in it. The coffee maker was filthy. The master bath shower had not been cleaned. The front steps are very dangerous and the railing was quite loose. These people are not ready to be Vrbo hosts. I tried communicating with Adam and he ended up becoming very rude. I asked for a refund and he said I needed to communicate through his lawyer. Is this who Vrbo wants as a host? It's listed as Caitlyn's property, but I never talked to her. I have many more comments to make; where do I email them?

Summer fun

Beautiful views and small town charm. Lost power but xcel was on it. This is a new listing which will just keep getting better. Enjoyed our stay and will go back!
