“We were in Bedale to attend the Middleham Open Day. It was a perfect base for us.The cottage was absolutely perfect. A real home from home. There was everything you would need for a weekend stay or even longer. We enjoyed a lovely walk along the river out the back. Would definitely recommend and hope we will be back one day. ”

“Fantastic place to stay! We stayed for three nights with our two children - they loved staying in "the castle". Really well furnished and had everything we needed. The views are fantastic and some great walks in the area. Easy to drive to Durham and the Beamish Museum. Highly recommended!”

“Awesome little out of the way cottages, we had a simple over night stay for a birthday and the cottage was perfect. Extremely clean, looked to have just been refurbished with everything needed for a short stay. Lovely few drinks at the Bay horse infront of an open fire, with well priced excellent food. Negatives Bathroom: no mirror, no towel rails, only one hand towel in the property for three.
