“We stayed the weekend for a college reunion- this is our 5th stay - and it keeps getting better. Friday night we had a small get together before heading out to local restaurants and all who stopped by commented on how beautiful the house was and how great the location is. Both inside and outside were great- was a great venue for the 8 of us who stayed. Already looking at dates for the next get together- and making a reservation for “the house” will be top on the list of to dos. ”

“Well-maintained cabin not far from Lock 6 on the Mississippi river. Has a screened porch, useful on days when mosquitos are active. There is a fire pit with firewood to enjoy evenings outside. Although we didn't use the amenities there such as the fire pit and the hammocks, it pretty much had everything we needed for a somewhat rustic weekend. “We wanted a pet friendly "home away from home" and we certainly found it. The cottage is very nicely appointed inside and has pretty much everything you could want! We only used the master bed and although it is quite a soft mattress it is very comfortable and great pillows (which we never find!) “The listing said three bedrooms but it is really a main bedroom on the first floor with a loft upstairs that has two queen beds. It still worked out perfectly for my family. The two loft beds were separated by a living room area and a privacy wall. The full bathroom upstairs was spacious for my adult kids.Loved the airy decor on the first floor as well as the rustic warm decor of the loft.My family was in town for a wedding but would love the opportunity to stay again!”
