“We had a lovely one night stay in The Barn and would love to return in the future. This place is a gem! Private, beautiful landscape and very well done inside with high end finishes. Loved the brick walls throughout and cosy, yet high end feel. The jacuzzi tub with nice smelling bath salts and candles was very romantic. Having breakfast provided was a huge help as we were there on a Wednesday where a lot of places are closed. If you are going to Barossa definitely stay here. You will not be……

“This is a very special place. It is a mix of the historical side (bedrooms, lounge etc) with the modern (kitchen and bathrooms). When it was hot outside it was cool in the house. When it was cold outside it was warm inside ( didn't use any outside control. The little extras in the food dept were much appreciated. It was lovely to have the easter eggs and packet of dog treats too. Very welcoming house.”

“This property worked well for our group of 9. The kids had their own room, which we could close off. There was plenty of room for us adults and plenty of room outside too. We enjoyed our time there. ”

“The main room with the bed was well appointed with lots of lovely little touches. Pod machine, chrome cast on tv, king bed, beautifully decorated. The outdoor sitting area was lovely and relaxing and the toilet and bathroom modern. William our host was helpful and a pleasure to deal with. ”

“Lemke Cottage was a wonderfully picturesque historical sanctuary. It was was comfortable and beautifully decorated with period pieces and thoughtful touches. We loved it.”

“Our stay was a very positive one. We just needed communication re booking in process by text, not just email. On the road, I had no access to email and had to get my son to retrieve booking info for us. This was the only problem with the stay - breakfast hamper was excellent!!”

“Large rooms with lots of seating, nice and cool with the fans on. There’s not much space to put clothes, just a couple of hangers. Kitchen is nice and tidy with a range of cooking utilities. Parking is available and easy access to the property.Great location: close to shops and train station. We walked to the Fasta Pasta down the road for dinner. ”

“The property is beautifully appointed. You are secluded but you should know that when booking. It’s a 15 minute drive to Tanunda and a 7 minute drive to Lyndoch. You come here for the serenity and the views. Relax from wine country and enjoy your wines and company. The host is fabulous with delicious breakfast for the days you are staying. A lovely bottle of wine. A white table cloth and napkins. The jacuzzi tub has the lines professionally cleaned between each visitor so you know she cares……

“Great location. Easy walk to shops and local walking trails. Comfy and clean. We stayed for 12 nights to visit family and it suited us well. Kim left us lots of yummy breakfast food which was much appreciated. Basic amenities but we didnt need more. Good quality linen. Big sunny backyard. Very quiet at night. Would happily stay again. ”
