“Very casual about check in they live next to the main Office and have kids so may be next door. Just key the radio on counter. We got there early and were given a good fishing place to try out before we came back. The last day we got directions to a local lake that is a short walk down a logging road. Like having a whole valley with a lake in the middle to yourself. We didn’t see a soul the whole time and it’s a good size lake. The description about out being off grid is dead on, 12 bolt lights……

“We hit traffic on the way up, but Carrie was still available for our late check-in. She was super helpful and accommodating and gave us loads of ideas for activities and directions in the area. We stayed in the largest treehouse and it was exactly as advertised in the photos. "The front desk staff was extremely friendly and even recommended nearby souvenir shops and an amazing breakfast spot. I would give them a perfect score for their service. The hotel is converted from an old elementary school, which gives it a unique character. However, the bathroom is a bit small, with a sink that seems sized for elementary school students, making it easy to splash water everywhere. The bed appears to have dust mites, as my allergies acted up shortly after lying down, though it wasn't too severe. The TV offers many channel options, so you won't get bored at night！"
