“We were looking for a quiet, peaceful, lakefront cottage and Firefly Lodge delivered. We enjoyed coffee on the dock every morning and were joined by the ducks and loons. The highlight for us was watching the supermoon rise over the lake. It seemed like you could reach out and touch it. The owners were great and made sure we had no problems. We hope to be able to visit again”

“We left the property and started refund process within just a couple of hours of arriving. Exterior of House looks nothing like the photos online: Grass was not mowed, trash was on the front porch, paint was chipping, chairs were broken and taped together, back door to house was unlocked. Interior was no better; shower floors and walls were rusty, bath mats were wet and soiled, freezer had dried blood on the interior, beds did not appear to be freshly made with clean sheets since previous……

“We loved this house and felt right at home. The property manager was super welcoming and very accommodating. Just a short walk across the yard to a beautiful lake made this a perfect place for us and our kids ages 3,10 and 13. We brought our canoe for fishing and did so each morning of our 6 night stay. Beds were cozy, kitchen was well stocked. We could not have asked for a better stay and cant wait to return each time we visit our family in the area. Thank you Justin and Kerry!”

“ Interior layout with two dining areas nice for eating in and socializing with three generations. Vacation highlights included renting boat to explore Sacandaga Lake, eating at historic Hotel Broadalbin and visiting the National Bottle Museum. ”

“1890s Elegant mansion with great bones and almost completely restored. Pool would be big plus in summer and game room definitely a plus, though some equipment needed repair. Great location for our short family reunion of 6 adults and 3 tweens. Would worry about kids less than 10 or limited mobility folks as stairs quite tight or spirally and high. Does have first floor bedroom but a bit of distance to the single well appointed bath on that floor. Kitchen quite well equipped and even had a wide……

“House was clean and well equipped. The bunk beds were a hit and made it easier for 2 families to share the house. Location was convenient to Northville and lake. Hosts were very responsive and even arranged for us to pick up an item we left behind. Would stay there again next summer .”
