Groot huis, prachtig uitzicht en een vriendelijke hostess.

We zijn zeer vriendelijk ontvangen door Gabriella, we kregen tekst en uitleg over van alles. Er werd ook gelijk gereageerd als je een berichtje stuurde. Echt super!Het huis is groot, je hebt alle ruimte. Het uitzicht is echt spectaculair, zoiets hebben we nog nooit gehad. Een groot balkon met een gedeelte overkapping waar we veel gebruik van hebben gemaakt.Qua inrichting mag er nog wel iets gedaan worden, denk aan bijv. bank, kleed in woonkamer, afwerking.Waar we ons aan gestoord hebben is de hond van het appartement onder ons. Bijna de hele dag het geblaf van die hond.Verder was het ideaal om via een paadje naar Stresa te kunnen lopen, zo heb je niet altijd je auto nodig.

Das Haus hat einen tollen Seeblick. Es ist im Haus alles da, was man benötigt. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin hat gut geklappt. Wir hatten hier einen sehr schönen Urlaub.

Like home away from home but more beautiful!

We hated to leave. The villa was more beautiful and spacious than the pictures led us to believe, and we felt so welcomed by Gabriella. It was if we were staying with family or friends, not as strangers. We struggled with getting there (our fault, due to a typo in the GPS) but Gabriella was so kind and patient with us. When we finally made it she was waving to us from the gate, what a welcome sight. She gave us a tour, showed us everything, and had some little welcome gifts for us as well! Amazing. The villa itself has breathtaking views of Lake Maggiore. Our only regret is that we were there during an extreme heatwave, so we couldn't enjoy the terrace as much as we would have liked because it was too hot outside. The villa was extremely well equipped, better than any other rental I've been in. We only cooked in a couple times, but could easily have done so all week if we'd wished. We drove in and out of Stresa because my 85-year old dad has mobility issues, so we couldn't take the walking path. But we loved Stresa, and enjoyed tooling around to other local areas like Arona, Lake Orta, and more. We would gladly return here, and recommend it highly to anyone seeking a peaceful, beautiful, and comfortable place to stay on Lake Maggiore. Thank you, Gabriella, for everything!!!!!

Saubere Unterkunft mit toller Aussicht

Die Ferienwohnung war sauber und hat einen tollen Ausblick. Hier braucht man allerdings ein Auto um mobil zu sein. Die Möbel sowohl im Ess-Wohnbereich als auch auf der Terrasse sind sehr in die Jahre gekommen und müssten unbedingt erneuert werden. Die Vermieterin ist herzlich und hilfsbereit.

This was such a lovely place with breathtaking panoramic views. It has a serenity that is welcoming after a day of touring. It is a perfect location and excellent for taking day trips to Lake Orta, Switzerland, Lake Como, etc. Everything you need is available and the hostess, Gabriella, is delightful. It was one of our most favorite rentals on a long trip.

Lovely apartment

Our stay in this Stresa apartment was delightful. Gabriella greeted us personally, and was very kind and helpful. We enjoyed the quiet, relatively remote location (uphill away from the city center), and also access to a beautiful trail to the town that kept us from having to walk on the narrow, curvy roads. We couldn't get enough of the view from the sitting room and wraparound deck. Of the three rentals we had on our trip, this was our favorite.

Super séjour !Gabriella et sa fille Laura nous ont accueillis très chaleureusement dans leur superbe maison. Elles ont été aux petits soins pour nous et ont répondu à toutes nos attentes . La maison est très bien agencée et la vue sur le lac à 180 est époustouflante. Nous ne voulions pas partir !

The best view in the world

A fantastic welcome from Gabriella to her gorgeous and well appointed villa. The view from the terrace over Lake Maggiore was stunning. It is well worth getting up to witness the sun rise over the mountains on the opposite side of the lake. The villa was super comfortable, clean, quiet and had everything we needed. Stresa is a 20 minute walk down a sometimes rough, unmade path. The walk back climbs 100m, perfect for walking off those pasta calories. Just be aware that the Vrbo map shows the villa much closer to town than it actually is. We loved stopping here and will definitely stay again if we return to Stresa.

Lovely and well equipped

Great place to stay, large living area and bedrooms, and very well equipped kitchen. Gabriella was amazing! A little quiet in stresa but that can’t be helped, it was winter. Nice relaxing stay to end our hectic holiday in Europe.

Eine Terrasse vom Feinsten

Sehr gelungen. Obwohl der Anfahrtsweg zum Haus sehr schwierig war, haben wir uns im Haus sehr wohl gefühlt.Der einzige Wermutstropfen war, dass das Wetter nicht mitgespielt hat.

Traumhafter Blick über den See

Das Ferienhaus ist wunderschön. Drei Seiten haben eine Terrasse und man kann fast von überall auf den See schauen. Es ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht - von der Spülmaschine bis zur Klimaanlage in den Schlafzimmern. Und die Gastgeberin ist sehr sehr nett und hilfsbereit!

Perfect!

Perfect house. Comfortable and clean. The walk to town was beautiful and rustic. We were glad we brought a backpack carrier for our 4 year old though as it was quite a steep walk. The neighbors were lovely and the neighborhood was calm and quiet. The hosts were gracious and helpful. Overall a fantastic stay for our family of 4.

Spectacular View of Lago Maggiore

The view from this property is just spectacular. It has a comfortable and large balcony/deck. The bright living room is surrounded by windows which provides for breath taking views. The property itself is in a great neighbourhood, well placed for access to Stresa and surrounding area. There is a nice trail if you want to walk into town and it takes about 20 minutes.

Super Ferienwohnung mit toller Aussicht

Die Ferienwohnung liegt etwas oberhalb der Stadt Stresa und bietet eine hervorragende Aussicht über den gesamten Lago Maggiore. In ca. 5 Autominuten ist man im Zentrum von Stresa. Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich, die Wohnung sauber und super ausgestattet.

Tolle Herbstferien in Stresa

Außer, dass wir vom Wetter her etwas Pech hatten und viele Sehenswürdigkeiten und Restaurants bereits geschlossen hatten, waren es fantastische Herbstferien und eine wirklich tolle Ferienwohnung!! Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!
