“There was not good communication about the size of the room. This was listed as suitable for 6 people and it certainly was not. We were 4 adults and 2 kids, the adults not in pairs. But we were willing to push through for one night. The other problem was an inadequate amount of linen. We needed more towels and blankets/sheets. I called Samantha to ask about additional linen and her response was not what I expected. She asked if we were cold because the room was adequately warm and we’d be fine……

“We were excited for our stay as working mums some precious time for R&R was much anticipated. The listing on Arbo looked great … nice setting & a hot tub over looking fields was the tranquil getaway we had in mind. However When we arrived we found the hot tun had not been cleaned (like & mud & hair). Also the temperature was.not hot.The accommodation wa dirty.. cups that were dirty with lisp it marked, shower not cleaned properly & bin dirty too. Worktops also dirty. The response to get it all……

“We enjoyed our stay, the house was in a great position to walk to the ferry to see the Naval Museum. The garden and BBQ were really nice. However the house is looking very tired and needs some maintenance doing on it, beds without a mattress protector, dirty and broken loo seat, a cistern on a loo that ran all the time. Pillows that were very grubby without pillow protectors on them. A broken electric whisk, badly chipped paintwork, etc. However the lady I spoke to when we needed to sort out……
