The fully stocked kitchen allowed us to cook meals at home while enjoying the beautiful surroundings.John was very responsive on the app and gave us helpful tips on crabbing and other activities in the area! “While the property is peaceful and quiet, just minutes away there are so many fun, interesting things to do. We’ve stayed on several of the San Juan Islands, but San Juan Island itself is much more slow paced than most. The house has a beautiful, tranquil view, and the bed is extremely comfortable (and I am picky). We were on the island early and were thrilled to get a text message saying that the house was ready early (3 hours) and we were welcome to come anytime. The one recommendation I would……

“Stayed here for two nights with 3 kids, and my only complaint was that we did not book longer. The view was truly stunning, and there was plenty of room and games for the kids. We had an issue with an EV charger, and someone from Vacasa was there the next day to check into it. Well done!”

“We were debating if we wanted to pay extra for this vs a hotel, but it turned out to be so nice. It was very private, and had a great view of the shore (it looks sideways down the beach so you can't see out to sea, but can see water). No beach access though unfortunately. We stayed here on our honeymoon and it was the perfect size for us. It's within a 15-20 minute walk from downtown Friday harbor, which was nice because we couldn't always get an Uber in time for what we needed. We also saw……

“This cabin was really wonderful! Came with my family, half of us on bikes. Stayed right on the edge of Spencer spit. Small view from the cabin. Rich and Amy were great hosts, clear communication at the beginning. We only stayed 2 nights and had no issue. Would stay here again. ”

“We visited in the Dec. off-season and found a very comfortable, clean & airy cabin. The photos were accurate as well as the description. Great view of the Sound just 20' away. Made a good base for hikes on the island. Cabin rentals are a little pricey but the hot tub and proximity of a well-stocked resort store are 2 of the justifications.”
