“We‘ve spent two wonderful weeks with our two year old daughter and our dog. The house is beautifully located in the hills with no direct neighbours. The view is fantastic and we felt immediately at home in this beautiful house. We had a wonderful time and our hosts were just lovely. (We cannot say anything about the pool - except that it is huge - because we were there out of season in March when the pool was closed.)”

“Our fist time experience with a castle hotel is pleasant. We arrived at a rainy day and thus a bit of difficulties in lifting our heavy luggage to the reception - you have to walk a few wet and muddy stone steps from the parking place. Despite that, everything else of our accommodation is nice. The heating is also well functioned considering most other hotels or agriturismo do not offer heating in late April. It is worth mentioning that the breakfast offers a lot of choices. Besides we found……

“John & Dianne were utterly lovely and made every effort for us. The listing is very clear and if you're looking for peace and quiet in a serene valley, you couldn't do better. The track should be driven with care but after the first time accompanied by John, it's not too bad. I wouldn't bring a car with low clearance though. John and Dianne are in their home next door which was nice to know. They very much left us to it and didn't mind us playing our music by the pool. Otherwise we didn't see……

“This is an absolutely private place in the Tuscany’s hills. You can relax all day, but if you want the hustle and bustle of the city, Arezzo is the nearest big city (Siena 1.5 hours by car). There are several restaurants to choose nerby. A major shopping centre is 20-30 minutes away. The house is typical Tuscan style and well equipped, energy consumption needs attention but we had no problem.
