“We spent 2 nights at this cottage In October. Fun fact: my grandparents built this cottage in the 60’s and I spent many summers there in the 80’s and 90’s. I was happy to find it available as a vacation rental! The owner has updated the cottage, but kept its charm. It’s very cozy and well appointed. The screened in back porch is perfect for summer nights or rainy fall days. The location is very serene and quiet. During the summer, swimming and canoeing from the dock is perfect. “Treacherous path from carbto cabin. Frogs come in through hole in bathroom floor. Place was filthy and sand on everything. Screens do not fit windows, so bugs stream in. The floor is so sloped its difficult to walk. The uneven decking is dangerous. Horrible!”
