“Don't get me wrong, the couple was very nice. Let us check out their animals, go to the spring on their property, gave us a dozen eggs... However, I was under the impression there were beds, not air mattresses in the tent, air mattresses do not hold heat and are a poor choice when it gets cold becausethey also deflate with cold weather. The blankets provided were unacceptably thin. If I had not brought blankets from home we would have frozen to death. I finally gave up and everyone slept in the……

“We rented this cabin to participate in the Colon Cancer Riding for a Reason side-by-side trailhead event at Bass River Resort, and despite the distance to/from the resort, we had a blast driving the backroads and exploring Steelville.This cabin has all of the comforts of home and was very relaxing at the end of the day, after bouncing around in the side-by-side all day. It has convenient access in/out, and I was able to turn my 16’ trailer around fairly easily in the cut-de-sac. The hosts were……

“We celebrated the life of our brother. He was a simple guy who loved deeply. He served in Iraq and Afghanistan. The cabin was perfect. Nice lake out the back door with great porch for relaxing. We unfortunately didn’t get to go outside. Flooding rain cut our trip short. Great communication with the owner. Would return and recommend others to as well. ”
