“Don't get me wrong, the couple was very nice. Let us check out their animals, go to the spring on their property, gave us a dozen eggs... However, I was under the impression there were beds, not air mattresses in the tent, air mattresses do not hold heat and are a poor choice when it gets cold becausethey also deflate with cold weather. The blankets provided were unacceptably thin. If I had not brought blankets from home we would have frozen to death. I finally gave up and everyone slept in the……

“Very remote feeling but only 5 miles from town. This place is a little gem, with all the amenities and then some to make sure you feel right at home. We appreciated having somewhere close to our kids to be able to have a holiday dinner with. The sound of the river while outside was so peaceful. And we walked down to it to skip rocks. “We were looking for a space to just get away and spend time together. This met that need. The hot tub was the selling point for us. However, we didn’t do research on what a mineral hot tub is and it had a smell so we didn’t use it. That’s our fault. The location does allow for pets and there was a bit more hair in the kitchen than anticipated. Otherwise, great little get away. Thank you for having us!”
