“Cowlitz Manor was what we hoped for - perfect for our family of 4. The house is as beautiful in person as it is in the photos. The beds were incredibly comfortable! Being on the Cowlitz river and being to cross the road and walk up to it as well as the view from the gigantic balcony and outdoor couches made for a soothing stay. The drive to the town of Packwood was super easy too as was our hike to Lake Packwood (highly recommend). The accessibility to Mt. Rainier Park (we visited Sunrise and……

“Pros: Great location. We were able to skip the long line waiting in front of the entrance to Mt Rainier National Park. There is lots of space and beds. Each person of my family got their own bed. Host was very responsive.Cons: The house is old as shown in the pictures. It is not the cleanest but not gross at all.Would rent again. The location outweighs any cons.”

“We stayed with adults and teenagers. Everyone found great accommodations for the night. There was plenty of room. The sheep on the wall was funny. The kitchen was stocked with everything to prepare dinner and breakfast for our group of 4-6 people. The beds were comfy, enough towels. Communication with the manager was easy. “The cabin worked out great for our visit to Mt. Rainier park. It is an old cabin, and rustic, but had everything we needed to cook breakfast. Very close to the park entrance which avoided a long line of cars.”
