“We came to visit because my boyfriend lived in the Hattiesburg area for nearly 20 years and spent his childhood visiting family in the area. This home was an absolute treasure! I made the reservation and didn’t realize this home was blocks away from the homes where my boyfriend’s Papa, Granny and Grandma had lived when he was young. “We selected this property because of proximity to grandson’s wedding venue. This house provided the bedrooms and baths we needed for our family group as we got ready for wedding festivities. Upstairs has 2 bedrooms and bath, perfect for three granddaughters. Comfortable decor, kitchen with ample cookware and dinnerware, and several ‘relaxing’ spaces. ”

“The pictures of the property were misleading. The house is much smaller than the pictures indicate. The home has been partially restored, but it has not been finished. Furniture in the bedrooms was very limited. “Pros: clean inside, comfortable bed, magnifying makeup mirror in full bath, dehumidifiers, plenty of parking, a nice covered outdoor eating/visiting area, house was stocked with TP, paper towels, dish & laundry soap, sponge, kitchen towels, coffee & even some snacks! Cons: the exterior of the house was very dirty and the bushes were overgrown. There is no electrical outlet in the 1/2 bath for hairdryer, etc. ”

“A nice, quiet little get away. Very comfortable and clean. The only thing that put a damper on my stay was a power outage due to a passing storm which is of course outside the host’s control. Loved it!”
