“The house was beautifully situated with stunning views of the ocean and the mountains with easy access to the beach. The house itself is beautifully styled and with everything you need. We loved all the little spots where you could sit and enjoy the views and serenity. Everyone had a place to ecape to and also plenty of room to enjoy time together. The beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed getting to know the chickens. Melinda was a delight to deal with and was very responsive and friendly.……

“Had a lovely stay, could of stayed longer. Very quiet. The house was well equiped with all you need, unlike some other properties. Had a plumbing issue which was fixed immediately the day I called. Good service.Got to meet one of the very obliging owners. Because the area had received unprecented rain over the past month and for a couple of days while we were there, the grassed areas were a bit soggy, which was unavoidable, but would be better in the dry. Plenty of parking on the gravel driveway……

“We had the most wonderful 2 week holiday at Pelican Sands. House and surrounds were perfect. Enjoyed lots of beautiful sundowners on the large jetty on the water. This was the first time we’d stayed river side and it did not disappoint. We loved it! House is equipped with everything you need. Short walk or even a cheeky bus ride into Hastings. Wouldn’t change a thing. Communication with Craig and Marion was effortless. Thank you for a fabulous stay. We’ll be back!!”
