“Close to uptown Shelby, easy to find and great communication with host!”

“After the hurricane, there were not many places in the county that had electricity, but this home did. It was a blessing for our family to be able to live and work here for a week. The house was clean and very comfortable and the host was very easy to work with. Highly recommended for someone visiting the area or needing a place to stay while home is unavailable. ”

“We spent our Labor Day weekend at Historic Grain Cottage on Highland Cow Farm and were immersed in the middle of this working farm. The accomodations were cozy and rustic and we thoroughly enjoyed interacting with the cows, goats, chickens, cats, and horse. We felt safe guarded by our 2 sweet and gentle pups Sadie and Murphy (Great Pyrenees) as they patrolled the area. Our new friends, owners John and Sheri, are awesome hosts and we enjoyed their stories of the history of the farm. Thank you……
