“We did not have an amazing experience at Tamara Coorg. We initially felt that the front staff were extremely disengaging, slightly defensive on some of the feedback we were providing them. 1)food was deplorable. We come from a place of having been to other 5 or 7 star places in India and globally. 2) bathroom cleanliness, stains not up to par with 5 star standards. “Out start at Club Mahindra Madikeri was good. Housekeeping was prompt if you called in them for anything. However in the 2 night stay our room was never cleaned once. Food was average. “Quiet retreat atmosphere. But also not located near anything so a bit isolated. You get your own casita with your own patio. Beautiful except for shower/tub which is difficult to access if you have mobility issues. Apart from that perfect. Breakfast is perfectly fine but not amazing as it is in other 5 star hotels. Coorg food is restaurant was great. Dont order the pizza! Spa is great. Had 2 massages and both great. ”
