“Wonderful, historic log cabin (updated for modern conveniences) at the edge of the wilderness. We enjoyed our stay tremendously. ”

“We returned for our second visit to this cabin, and it was exactly how we left it (still perfect!). We had great weather all weekend - the lake was glass each morning and evening, so breathtaking! We spent most of our time kayaking, fishing, and sitting in chairs out in the water. The fire pit was stocked and ready for our arrival, and anything else we needed could be found at the Bowstring store. We did venture out to Riley's Cannibal Junction, Hayslips Corner, and played a few rounds at……

“Beaatiful lake place that had all we needed. Cooked for 10 for entire week and had all cooking supplies needed. Plenty of trailer, boat and vehicle parking tha made it easy for everyone. Lake is a beautiful lake with lots of fish to catch. Was really impressed with the whole set-up and our stay. We will be back.”

The space was clean and included many amenities that made our stay even more enjoyable, including a couple of paddle boards, a large griddle on the patio, and a lovely outdoor shower. “The lake is legit, the chonkiest walleyes! Something to note, which wasn’t on the listing: there is no garbage service provided at this cabin. we stayed for 2 weeks, and it was a real hassle, especially because there is a garbage company that services the area. there are no places in town to drop off a bag full of trash. the kitchen is well-appointed, and the toilet paper isn’t one-ply :)”
