The staff was excellent, friendly and accommodating! I had messaged them and they took care of my needs before I arrived! Popular hotel chains have struggled with this issue! We had a really good time here. We stayed here since it was close to Mountain Creek. The room was very nice and had nice amenities such as the spacious fridge with a freezer, microwave, and toiletries such as body wash and shampoo if you needed it. We also liked the smart tv too since we just signed into our apps. Overall the place was really nice and just like it’s pictures.

We stayed there to ski at Mountain Creek. It was very convenient, very friendly staff, rooms are clean and comfortable and offer all amenities. I have to say that it was the first time I book a motel room, but it was better than a lot of hotel rooms I've booked before.

This place was perfect for our snowboarding trip. It was super convenient with liquor store, food options and markets near by. The room was very clean and cozy. All the amenities worked. The woman who manages the motel was super sweet and friendly. Definitely making this our yearly stay for sure.

Jackie was wonderful and quick to respond to any questions. The outside could use some updates, but it seems like that’s in the works as the front office is currently under renovation! It’ll be nice to have the exterior match the updated coziness of the rooms themselves which were amazing! I would stay here again.

Love this place!

My family stayed in room 11 for 12 nights. Honesty, we all agree that this was one of the best motels we've ever stayed in. We chose this place expecting it to be kinda outdated due to the reviews, but the replies from the owner we're so sassy I was willing to risk our entire vaction quality. Boy am I glad I did! The room was beautifully remodled, the outside a little outdated, but who sleeps outside enough to care? Jackie was so helpful and friendly, we acrually felt a sense of family from this motel. No matter the time, she was willing and beyond happy to help and assist. I believe the bad reviews were from people who just cant be pleased regardless. 10/10 would reccomend this motel 100 times. If we're ever in or near Sussex again, we will for sure be staying here. We actually discussed taking another vacation during the summertime, just to stay at this motel and in Sussex again.
