“The Gate House served as a perfect place for our daughter and her bridal party to get ready for her wedding. There was plenty of room for the six bridesmaids to work with the hair stylists, makeup artist and photographer. The Groom and his crew had fun in the basement game area until the photographer was ready for pictures down by the pond. The kitchen was very well equipped and easy to create breakfast for a large crew. ”

“Jeff was very kind with us! He let us use all the amenities of the house. He even sent a person to help with the outdoor cleaning. The wedding was a dream, the lake, the view, and the people around, is a perfect spot to enjoy with the family. The next day for sure we used the kayak and the jacuzzi 😍 Thanks for everything Jeff!”

“My wife and I very much enjoyed this property. It’s a beautifully rustic cabin that’s literally 20 feet above the ground in the trees. It’s set back in the woods but not far from the road and the town of Belfast. The place is well-built and very clean. You will need to bring outdoor chairs, your own towels and warm clothing if it’s in the cooler months. It was a great experience. ”

The location made our Christmas that much more special being our first real snowy white memory. Cabin is unique and a view to envy and remember. The provided supplies and items in the kitchen cabinets were a huge help even while bringing so much of our own already. Great fireplace and the available trails are amazing. Truly a great stay.
