“The house was lovely, modern, clean. My second trip to the cabins. I love it here, so brought my family this time. We loved the common outdoor area by the river and spent many happy hours there together. The Forest Service accross the highway was so helpful and the nearby trails were beautiful.Our last night at the Obsidian Grill and General Store was fantastic with live music, great food and such a perfect mix of locals, fellow travelers and super cute canines. “We had a great stay! The VRBO was incredibly well stocked! Ice machine was a plus. It was a very quiet neighborhood and we enjoyed sitting outside in the evening. The water feature was lovely. Communication and access were both excellent. The only thing to be aware of is that the oven is not a traditional but a microwave/convection/bake counter top style. We did use the 2-burner hot plate and the electric grill! We would definitely stay again!”

“This really is a river haven. Unbelievable location that prioritizes river views and sounds. This place has almost everything you'll need: a well-stocked kitchen, linens, towels, washer/dryer, and a fireplace. A note on the fireplace: you'll probably want to get a firestarter kit and a duraflame log from the local market. The wood was pretty stubborn to burn, and we aren't sure if it was the wood or the fireplace that was the problem. In any csse, we were able to get the fire going with the……

“The property was perfect for our 3 generation reunion. The kitchen supplies, games, bedding, towels (inside & out) ,beds & tvs were plentiful. We grilled outside, played most of the days finding swimming holes up & down the creek. Also fishing, catch & release was great. We Loved lying on the porch at night watching the constellations and shooting stars. Everyone wants to visit every year! Ages 6 - 83!”

“This was the perfect place for us. It was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. We loved the deck and the views. Even on a hot day, the deck was comfortable in the afternoon shade. There is lots to do and see in the area. We would definitely stay here again.”
