“We were in Bedale to attend the Middleham Open Day. It was a perfect base for us.The cottage was absolutely perfect. A real home from home. There was everything you would need for a weekend stay or even longer. We enjoyed a lovely walk along the river out the back. Would definitely recommend and hope we will be back one day. ”

A cosy accommodation with all the creature comforts you would expect in a place with high standards. Spend a little time exploring the village of Grewelthorpe when you’re there and a meal at the nearby Crown Inn. Further afield explore the beautiful Yorkshire Dales with its quaint and picturesque villages and the beauty of the surrounding areas are stunning.”

“Well what an absolute find needed to get our dachshund away as constantly was upset by the coming and going of the window fitters in our house so took her away from the stress and ourselves and what more could we ask for absolutely stress free surroundings hot tub was an absolute bonus will visit again ”

“Friendly and lovely place. Our room was small but it had everything we needed. Jo kindly left us croissants and yogurts for the morning and was very flexible with check-in. Askrigg is a beautiful village. It’s certainly worth a visit if you are a fan of James Harriott!”
