Mike runs the hotel so well & is really helpful; they should change the name to Mike's Place. It's really clean, comfortable & has everything you need. “We enjoyed our stay and everything was exactly as portrayed in the listing. The hosts are very friendly, everything was clean, and we didn’t have any issues. We didn’t use the train but it was extremely close (but train noise was not an issue). Another review says that this is not a property for tall people. I am 6’2” and the bed was plenty long (and comfortable), but it is true that the bathroom is an inconvenience due to the slanting of the roof. I don’t think tall people need to avoid……

“Can't give enough superlative comments about our stay at La Jour . A lot of character / color at our room, Le Prairie . Host , Mr. Alain was great . although not in city center Geneva, within 5 minute walk ( I timed it) to no. 22 bus , and you are at Gare Cornavin within 12 minutes , very "country /suburban " feel to the neighorhood . We brought back dinner 1 nite , and sat at the patio table . If you are not happy to stay here , you are too demanding a traveller ”
