Disappointing Stay – Poor Service and Inadequate Facilities
We had one of our worst experiences at Hotel Blue and Cottages. The front desk staff was rude and dismissive, showing little concern for customer.
The air conditioning unit in our room started leaking during the night, forcing us to turn it off on a hot day. With a 5-year-old in the room, we endured a sleepless night in unbearable conditions. Despite the hotel providing an after-hours contact number, our calls and texts went unanswered. The next morning, I received a casual response, “Hi, just got your message,” which lacked any sense of urgency or apology.
When I raised this at checkout, the staff simply said they would “look into it” but offered no apology or resolution. If after-hours support is not genuinely available, why advertise it?
This experience was unacceptable, and we will not be returning.
