Fishing Trip

Great host, very accommodating and excellent condo. The tiki hut was a good place to relax. Great access to lake and the fishing was fantastic! We'll be back.

Fishing Weekend!

Great stay for our fishing weekend! Was able to dock my boat very close! Very comfortable condo, and relaxing at the Tiki bar after a long day was nice!

Wawasee Getaway

Booked the property last minute for a quick Lake town getaway and was not disappointed. Being able to dock our boat on the property as it is located in one of the channels made it super easy and convenient to use the lake at any time of day. Very relaxing stay, and very friendly host!

Great stay Great people

The people of lake Wawasee are friendly and our stay was enjoyed by all. Some non-locals operating boats on the lake do not understand boating laws or etiquette but that has nothing to do with the property.

Rented both condos next to each other.

Great location on the lake. Short trip down the channel to the main part of the water. Plenty of parking and very comfortable.

Be informed before you book

We were not aware that Lake Wawasee had no access if you did not have a property on the lake. A place on the channel would have been fine had we wanted to dock a boat and then access the lake from there. However we were hoping to be on the lake and actually be able to dip our toes in it and perhaps have a morning coffee or evening drink while watching the waves. And the description “a view of the lake” was accurate except that the view was distant and actually was a view of someone else’s property and dock. So, my fault for not reading the description carefully but still a very very big disappointment. The facility was adequate but didn’t make up for the disappointment of not having a lake vacation.

Great Stay

the property was very clean and is exactly like the pictures. Any time we had a question, or wanted to know how something worked (the fans, or the outdoor stereo) we just texted him and he was quick to respond. The whole experience was wonderful and would highly recommend to others.

Beautiful views and relaxing

This was one of the best weekend getaways!!! The property was great! Checking in was a breeze. The owner, Anjum, was very friendly and accomodating. We didn't want to leave and have already discussed coming back. Beautiful area.

Great, convenient spot for the family

Anjum was a great and courteous host for our weekend stay. The process was very smooth and the condo lived up to expectations. Pier was very handy for the pontoon I rented and the kids loved the hot tub and fire pit on the cool nights. Close to restaurants and everything the lake has to offer. I would stay again on my next trip through!

Beautiful property

This property was so nicely taken care of. The pictures don’t do it justice. The tiki bar, hot tub, and fun lighting made it a great experience. The boat was beautiful and clean as well. Anjum was a great host!

Memorial Weekend stay

We (family of 4) stayed for 3 nights and everything was as expected. Anjum was very responsive and accommodating. There was plenty of room to dock our 24' boat. The power washer was helpful to give the boat a thorough cleaning. The fire pit was great and we had some guests join us at the "Tiki Bar" - which had a smart TV. We did not get a chance to use the hot tub, but the other guests enjoyed it. We would definitely stay again.

Last minute find which exceeded our expectations

Anjum is a great host, makes you feel welcome and shares a great outside space. He checks on his guests frequently and is available for any needs. The unit was roomy and certainly exceed our expectations for a lake side stay. Lake view via channel across the street. Channel access for fishing and lake toys on property

Needs work but has potential

Upon first impression, the house was very nice and appeared to be recently renovated. The owner was very nice and accommodating. I tripped on the area rug in the living room area and noticed another trip hazard upon entering the kitchen (the kitchen level was raised with a distinct lip). Upon further inspection, I noticed an electrical outlet next to the water inlet for the washing machine. I believe this may be a building code violation. The flooring was new but was uneven in areas throughout the house. Many of the electrical outlets were not fully installed and were hanging outside the wall. There was no headboard for the bed in one of the two bedrooms and the frame slid freely around when getting in and out of the bed. Several of the window blinds were not functioning properly throughout the house. The entire house was just not clean, particularly considering there was a cleaning fee. There were dead ants on the floor outside the closet in the living room and piles of what appeared to be ant-hills behind the main couch along the floor framing. My friends commented that maybe these piles were from termite infestation but who knows. There was also a musty smell, later confirmed to be coming from the old mop and bucket in the closet behind the main door. Cob webs were present in several locations and in the bottom drawer underneath the sink. All in all this house has potential, if cleaned up and renovations completed. I think the trip hazards and potential code violation should be addressed immediately.

Beautiful property , fire pit , Tiki Bar , manicured lawn with lots of room to play yard games

We had a great time , the owner is very accommodating and friendly and made our stay comfortable , the property is beautiful and a great location even though it is Channel front the lake is across the street and it is an easy access just a few short yards by boat

The cottage was very clean. We had a great time . The fire pit was great to to sit around.

Our grandson caught his first fish in the channel. We would definitely go back again.
