“The old fashioned delightful seaside hotel. Walk across the road to a crystal clear beach. The Breakfast is everything you need, really nice places to eat. All the staff very helpful. We came just before the season and everyone was doing busy bees getting ready for visitors. Great place to stay.,”

“Beautiful old building, allowing you to experience what an old “archontiko” would be like. Perfect location for us, but there are some steps that cannot be avoided. Staff are simply wonderful and incredibly kind. With a few simple changes this place can become exceptional. Our A/C unit was pretty old and was not doing a good enough job. Room amenities could be improved. A bottle of water in the fridge for example would be very much appreciated.”

“This is an adorable villa set into the residential neighborhood with a warm manager, Kostas who makes time to accommodate the guest and make them feel at ease. The city is adorable and this location made us feel like part of the community while only a 5 minute walk (up 4 street / stair cases) from the main plaza. The 2 rooms on the top floor each have balconies with exceptional views and great cross ventilation to take advantage of the breezes. I highly recommend! Enjoy!”

“Our stay at the Villa Selena was beyond our expectations. The service was amazing and included delicious breakfasts provided in the morning on an outdoor patio by a very helpful hostess who provided lots of advice about things to do in the area. In the evening we sat in a rooftop patio with a beautiful view of the Mediterranean Sea. Across the road we had access to a pier and great swimming. “The room was amazing! The architecture of the building was preserved and the interior wall still had the original brick work. This property is centrally located near shopping and food. Kostas is a great host. He knows the history of the island and gives great suggestions as to where to eat and what to see. We will definitely visit Syros again and we will book this hotel again. ”
