    If you're looking for an affordable place to stay for a couple of nights, WoodSpring Suites Tacoma - Lakewood offers decent value. The front desk and staff were friendly and helpful, which made check-in smooth and welcoming. The room itself met basic needs but could have been cleaner—there were a few missed spots that made it feel like it hadn’t been fully turned over. Sound insulation is minimal, so you can hear noise from the hallway, adjacent rooms, and above, which may be a dealbreaker for light sleepers. Parking was adequate during my stay, and the location is relatively convenient to major roads and nearby stores. While the hotel is marketed as extended stay, some guests may find the lack of daily housekeeping and limited front desk hours a bit inconvenient. That said, having an in-room kitchenette is a plus if you're planning to stay a few days and want to cook. Not a luxury experience, but it works if you're on a tight budget and just need a place to crash.

    Well, I didn't want to do this, but it looks like I have to! From March 27 to March 28, I was lucky enough to stay at this hotel-hostel for one night! Everything was terrible, starting from the moment I checked into this hotel, and ending with two employees who literally broke into my room at 9:15 a.m. when I was naked (they first knocked loudly, and then opened the door altogether)! I arrived at the hotel 30 minutes before 3 p.m., as requested by the administration, but at 3 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. I could not get into my room, by the way, I was able to get into it only at 3:55 p.m. The administrator explained this by saying that the room was not cleaned! Are you serious?! Check-out starts at 11 a.m., and your staff didn't have time to clean the room in 4 hours, it's just terrible! The hotel itself looks like a hostel, thanks at least for the clean sheets! I checked in and thought the surprises were over, but after I went to the shower, I discovered that there was no hair dryer in the shower, which was indicated at the time of booking. About the morning situation: I wake up to a loud knock on the door, it was 9:15 on the clock, I decide not to pay attention and go back to sleep, but as soon as I hear the lock of my door signaling the opening, and then my door opens, I jump up only in a blanket! I sleep undressed, what if I was open and didn't hear anyone coming in!? What kind of attitude is this towards the guests?!

    I enjoy staying at this hotel because it's clean and affordable.vthey have kitches with full size refrigerator and freezer! Plus a dishwasher and stove. Included were dishes for 2. Cookware. All for under or around $100. I stayed two nights, but they offer really cheap weakly rates. I believe I saw a gym therevas well. It was closed, but opens early. I wasn't impressed with the front desk help the last couple of times I stayed. They were not very friendly or helpfull. Aside from that it's not a bad deal.

    The price was a bit high for the kind of environment and atmosphere. We noticed the sheets were not clean. The bed frame wasn’t in my opinion, king suite material. The downstairs guest entrance on the side of the building was rigged to not stay locked, so security concerns were definitely present. Also, the elevator feels like the cables are about to break and have the cart fall. We appreciate the stay but we won’t be returning.
