“This unit was a great spot for us to be near to Waitomo Village and explore the surrounding area. Great communication from our host and a lovely clean unit to relax in for the evening. Our USA visitor was also really excited to see the sheep and enjoy the view from the Sunrise unit. A great overnight stay.”

“Te Tiro was a lovely place to get away and enjoy one of the most beautiful areas I have ever been. Our host was welcoming and accommodating and the cabin we stayed in was very comfortable. He showed us areas to walk around the farm and there is a pathway to an area to see glow worms a short walk from the cabin. The kitchen is well appointed and there is a bbq to use. To maximize your relaxation time I would note that the nearest grocery is ~30 min drive away, so best to come stocked. ”

“I was on a solo runaway trip and this was exactly what i needed. A real 3R bolt hole to rest relax and recharge (with a fair amount of reading, plus some surf and star gazing added in). Everything was perfect. Close enough to Raglan to be convenient but far enough away to be private and gorgeously peaceful. Even had a kereru visit. Next time i need to run away i know where to come.”

“The cottage was perfect for our overnight needs. The kitchen was modern, clean and well-stocked. The bedrooms were comfortable and we loved eating a home-cooked meal on the deck. The night bugs were out when the sun went down so we didn’t spend time on the porch after dinner. The water views were lovely - we just wish we had more time to swim! The owner was in contact quickly with lots of useful information. The property is in a neighborhood that is fairly remote. We stopped in Kawhia……
