“Such a beautiful place it’s unique and amazing views of the water it’s so peaceful it was just perfect we would definitely stay there again. The house had amazing art throughout it and the beds were beautiful and modern it was just lovely ”

“On arrival we were unable to open the lock box, so were unable to lock up when ever we went out.Pots and pans needed to be cleaned before using.Location was perfect.Would have been nice to of had some spices and oil available.”

“We enjoyed the lovely view out to the sandhills. Small but well thought out unit with parking right next to the unit. Very clean with a heat pump/ air conditioner which was very useful. Wifi worked well. ”

“The cottage is spacious and very well equipped. There is a full kitchen and a washing machine.We were 2 adults and 2 children, one of the kids slept on a matress on the floor in the living room but it was perfect for what we needed.Doug was very responsive when we needed anything. The only slight down side is that it wasn't very private when using the outdoor area. ”

“We enjoyed our stay at this 'kombi' themed cottage - accurately described on the website and without any interruption from the outside world. A couple of points we feel would make it even more comfortable;As advertised, the TV is only connected to the DVD player and there is NO 'free to air' TV stations or online sites available. We think access to 'free to air' channels (TV1, TV2, TV3, etc) would be a great improvement.The beds had sheets with Winter weight duvets but there were no Summer……

“Quiet stay in old but quaint cottage. Enjoyed the hospitality of local shop/bar/cafe staff. So helpful and proud of what NZ has to offer. But, one never leaves enough time to fully enjoy the area!! Our loss. ”
