Lots of great memories staying there 20 years ago with the kids, and evo has done a fantastic job renewing the old Americas Best Value Inn Lake Tahoe-Tahoe City; (2 visits in 2 weeks; had to return it was SO nice.) Very nice, updated rooms, super comfy beds, relaxing room patios with exceptional views, very friendly staff, awesome sauna, pet-friendly for those with furry friends, inviting communal areas, great food at Sierra Surf Club (formerly Blue Agave,) and close to everything! AND, they're just getting started fully developing the property! Looking forward to our next stay!!!

the staff was amazing. front office man went out of his way every time to make sure we had everything. unfortunately, the firepits never came on after the first night but he tried everything, and HE WAS GREAT/ unfortunately i cant remember his name i believe he was Hispanic and a diabetic which was relevant because my husband is also a diabetic and lost all of his meds on the plane. he is a true asset to your property

Very noisy due to thin walls between rooms. Also room smelled like heavy bleach. Had to leave window open to ventilate and also had to buy a candle to mask smell in room. We live in Reno and travel to west shore 10 times a year. We will not be returning to evo hotel.

Property was newly remodeled and looked amazing. Rooms were modern and bed was super comfy. Staff was so welcoming and acomodating. They had amazing little extra touches throughout the course of our stay. Would love to come back again!

Staff is incredible, property inviting, cozy and comfortable. Firepit patios witj plenty of seating to enjoy the outdoors.day or night. Dog friendly!!! The pups even got treats and swag. Only downside is the parking is tight and limited.

Great rehab in the property from what it was before. Will be a busy spot for the summer right across from the lake. However walls are paper thin you hear everything. Like cell phones on vibrate in the next room thin. Also for dog friendly all rooms with a patio area the partitions are high so your dogs can go into anyone’s space. Was bummed i couldn’t relax outside with dogs as first thing they did was run down the whole balcony line. Front desk staff super friendly but more excited about the restaurant opening up and the hotel side I’ll have to pass til they fix better separation for dog owners.

Great location for skiing. 10 minutes from palisades and North Star. Lots of dining and shipping options around. Great location right next to the Dam. Evo is a company that sells skiing merch, this is their first foray into building a hotel to host skiers. The room is designed around this concept. You can purchase stuff off the website and have it be delivered here when you check in.
