“ Home is in need of a deep cleaning to remove animal hair from couches and other areas. Random garbage in cabinetry and under furnishings from past tenants. Was never given check in info until hrs after check in once i wrote the host directly it took another hr or so to gain access after arriving. ”

“This place is fantastic! All the space you could need inside and out. Stunning views, extremely comfy beds & an amazing host as well!! We stayed here for 7 nights, it was hot& humid! The Aircon was definitely needed. We sat on the screened porch, relaxed down on the dock & we swam in the river! Can't recommend it enough! Due to the steepness of the site, definitely not suitable for those with mobility issues though. But without the steepness it wouldn't be so much fun!!”

“We loved our trip. It was a very nice little cabin. Our only complaint is that we only got one piece of firewood. The welcome guide said we would get three bundles. I know we could’ve have called and they would’ve had them there. But it wasn’t worth the hassle for one night. ”

“The home was very clean. Perfect size for a family of 4. Location was good and area felt safe. Only thing that would have been nice is if a hairdryer would have been at the home for use. ”

“This is our third year in a row renting this cabin. We enjoy the quiet and relaxing cove. It is a good distance from the town, so make sure you take what you need. The boat dock is GREAT and accommodates our ski and Jon boat. We bring our paddleboard and enjoy paddling through this cove. The owners have 2 kayaks you can use as well. ”

“We had a group of 15 celebrating our friend’s 60th birthday. Our group travels together at least twice a year and the Perch has been the BEST place we have ever stayed!!! It’s not only beautiful but clean and very well stocked. We will definitely stay here again. ”

“This stay was my second stay at Country Cabin in Alpine, AL. this year if that says anything. Just like the first stay everything was perfect. We spent a day at Wind Creek Casino which is about a one hour drive away. On another day we went to Talladega Marksmanship Park and the next day we went gold prospecting in Talladega Creek and found several flakes of gold. The best part is how quite it is at the cabin and watching sunrises from the front porch with a cup of hot coffee. For a nice and……
