What we liked: large room and comfortable bed. The management does try to address the noise problem by leaving a note and a pair of ear plugs in the room (I have to say this is a first for me, but at least they tried).
What we didn't like: The floors were sticky, stains on chairs, floor, and furniture. Customer service was very poor. The guy at the front desk was dismissive at best and defensive at worst. When we told him about a problem he said, "I doubt if management will do anything about it." Wow, I really am not that demanding he could have said, "I'm sorry you had that experience." Or a hundred other good customer service responses and I would have been ok, but really, management doesn't care?!
From an unexpected poor EV charging experience, to the room phone not working, to no sheets then when sheets were delivered...no pillows, and finally no parking, it wasn't a stay we want to repeat. There are no overhead lights in the bedroom and only two dim bedside lights worked. The rest were broken. Bathroom had rust and mildew and again very dim lighting. Kitchen had nothing. Don't expect paper towels, a dish towel, dishes, silverware, or anything. There is nothing except a microwave, dorm size fridge, and a sink.
There's SO MUCH potential for this hotel. It's within walking distance to FSU. Given better staffing and management this could be top notch.
