“Saje Family Residence is a beautiful house a short drive from Mudgee. It is spacious, clean and well kitted out. We enjoyed toasting marshmellows over the fire pit after an enjoyable day shopping and wine tasting.”

“Wonderful to arrive and find the cottage exactly as pictured online. Having the 3 bathrooms was a big plus for our group of ladies especially when it came time to get ready for Saturday night in town. It was hard to pull ourselves away from the comfy lounges though and the fans and AC ensured we were comfortable whatever the temperature outside. Thank you for a wonderful retreat. The girls are already talking about coming back for a winter stay to make the most of the fire pit.”

“I have been working arround the area for over 14 years, .... this is by far, the cleanest place I've ever stayed in. Great ballance between original and modern interior. Chefs style oven and kitchen amenities. Great outdoor area, with gass barbecue. The list is too long, .... well done. Great place to stay. ”

“The Ilkley House was an ideal location for a family retreat for 10 people (3 couples and 4 children). We ate some meals at the house, and some meals out in Mudgee. The kitchen facilities and BBQ worked well for our group, and we could all fit around the square table for meals, and games. The bedrooms were comfortable. We found lots of activities to enjoy in Mudgee and the nearby National Parks. ”

“he dishwasher was not working, which resulted in me and my guests spending a lot of time washing dishes. This was quite disappointing. In general, the place was beautiful, but the kitchen was very dirty; the cookware was oily and dirty. Additionally, there was only one roll of kitchen towel for 10 people over 2 nights. Most importantly, there were bunk beds, which were not shown in the property photos.”
