“I booked the hotel last minute, because it was closer to the departure point of my tour than the accommodation I’d been planning to stay at and it turned out to be a good choice. The pool area is lovely, though I didn’t spend too much time there because the mosquitoes loved me too much. The rooms are just ok, but the AC works well and the staff was really kind. “The location of Hotel Palacio couldn't be better. It is in the heritage district and easily accessible to food, transportation, and attractions. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and affordable. The staff was extremely friendly and courteous, especially Rochelle. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and to be helpful. Rochelle truly knows hospitality (!!), but the entire staff was amazing. This is definitely THE place to stay in downtown Paramaribo.”

“Exceptional customer service is what stands out. Front desk staff were friendly and went above and beyond. I arrived after 10 pm with no dinner and the front desk lady went in back and made me a sandwich without me requesting. And for my 2:30 am (!) departure someone was there to give me a breakfast box for the road. Good location, walkable to town centre. Fully recommended. ”
