They canceled my reservation without notice after I drove over two hours to get there , nobody communicated this with me. They did not even give me a timeline on my refund and I can’t get anyone to respond to my messages.

Cool spot

Studio was just what we needed for our stay. We came to Tampa Pro skate competition. It was close to everything, right down the street from the event. Close to the airport and the trendy part of Ybor. Not the best part of town, but the building is secure. Studio needed a few simple things like a toaster, clothing rack to hang a few clothes and shower caddy for toiletries. Other than that a comfortable stay and good price for what it is.

I would not choose to stay at this location again. Upon arrival the room was smaller than anticipated and very close to the main hallway. Although the property "rules" state to respect quiet hours the long term residents on the property are not held to the same standard and could often be heard throughout the night including children playing in the hallway close to midnight on weeknights. The entire time I was there a smoke detector was running low on battery and beeping every 30 seconds. I tried to contact the property owners several times every day and never heard a response from them. It seems to me that the owners of this property are just looking for a quick buck and are unwilling to perform any of the responsibilities you would expect.

Very run down neighborhood unsafe

The post did not match what it was online very tiny room unsafe area all night I could hear random people outside my window talking about unsafe things, would have rather slept in my car in a nice area then here Has no iron, was hard to unlock the door, host un responsive. And I never leave a bad review being a business owner but this was ridiculous, I felt I got scammed

Room itself was new, smelled of paint etc, and looked as if only a few people have stayed there. Building is historic with a great amount of history that can be looked up online. Bottom floor room was pretty loud throughout the night and there was a picnic bench under the back stairs we could use, but no balcony as in the pics-the top floor has another door code so you cannot access it. The neighborhood itself is up and coming, so if I were from somewhere else and not familiar in a rougher part of town, I would not have been comfortable. There are gates and codes so I felt safe inside, but wouldn’t want to walk anywhere. There is a bakery up the street that opens late and is a hint of what this neighborhood will become in a few years. For what we needed the room for, it worked but it’s not for everyone (my elderly mom).
