“Be careful not to miss it on the road - that said, once you turn in from 390, the place is unassuming but highly hospitable. The room we stayed in met all our needs - including a kitchen nook equipped with cooking needs and plates and silverware. We were in the midst of 90-degree days, but the air conditioning worked just fine. There were ample clean towels provided and the owner/proprietor was very eager to assure a smooth check in and that all our needs were met. We would definitely stay……

“Although not a fancy 5 star hotel, the Fern Ridge was a very pleasant surprise! We had expected the lower rate to mean a small room without much comfort, but found the friendliness of the staff to go above and beyond what one would receive at ANY rated hotel. Jackie introduced herself as the housekeeper and was very kind to note she would accommodate anything we needed, their restaurant served reasonably priced meals, and located only moments from the Pocono Speedway.
