“The bed sheets has many insects. It seems that there has no change the bed sheets. There has no pillow provided. 1st night - we double checked and made sure the door locked before we go bed to sleep. In the morning, we saw the door was opened. The door had scratch marks， I guess somebody use the tools to open the door. Be careful your bags and money if you stay in there. We really cannot sleep in the 2nd night. The washroom is clean. “This house provided space and everything we needed. It was very enjoyable and beautifully maintained. “Had a one night stay following a trip to Hobbiton movie set. Stayed in chalet Frodo which is only a 10-15 min drive from Hobbiton.The chalet is very clean and well appointed. While quite compact it had everything the two of us required for an overnight stay. We had dinner at Osteria restaurant in the main centre which is only a 3 min drive away. Thoroughly recommend Osteria for quality of food, portion size , atmosphere and price”

“Had a wonderful time on our stay, was able to just relax and put on the fire, went for a walk around to the lake, and went into to Rotorua. Was a great weekend away”

“We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Cherry Tree Cottage with our dog. The cottage was well appointed and it was a nice gesture as we were given some eggs for our breakfast. Jerry and Cherry were charming hosts.”

“Great location—close to the Skyline and hot springs, very convenient! The place was clean and tidy, but the building is quite old. “The Willows is in a great location, and the view from the property is fantastic. Don't miss the opportunity to enjoy a spa while looking out across the lake. The home is large, spacious, and incredibly well stocked. The beds were comfortable as was the living room furniture. If it's a cold day crank up one or both fireplaces for a cozy atmosphere. If the weather has truly killed your plans for the day there must be well over 1000 BluRay/DVDs to choose from!Would definitely stay there again.”

“This is a very rustic property with lots of character. I didn't partake, but was told the included breakfast was very good (apparently the chef is a pastry chef) the room was comfy, and the area was serene. If you stay here you have access to the natural hot pools 24/7. The staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed 4 days and it was nicely convenient to a lot of places. “This accomodation is apparently the newest in Rotorua and definitely did not disappoint. The property looked modern and clean from the outside with decent number of parking available which is controlled so you know you won't have to fight over your parking spot with other guests. The rooms are nicely sized, with large, comfortable beds. Everything looks modern as well and still looks clean and new. The bathroom is nice and spacious and the underfloor heating and towel heater is a nice touch……
